Inclusive Education: Key Takeaways from Our BENEFIT Multiplier Event
On August 27, 2024, the Faculty of Economics – Skopje, North Macedonia, became a hub of innovation and collaboration, hosting a dynamic multiplier event on inclusive education and blended learning. Bringing together 64 participants both online and in person, the seminar underscored the critical role of technology and innovative practices in creating an inclusive educational environment for all.
Led by Prof. Dr. Mijalche Santa, the discussions delved into the significance of inclusive education, the current state of higher education for students with disabilities, and the persistent challenges institutions face in providing adequate support. Participants explored over 150 digital tools tailored for people with special needs, alongside a newly developed course for educators designed to promote active inclusion using these digital resources.
The event also showcased the potential of AI tools to enhance learning experiences for individuals with special needs, reaffirming the importance of collaboration, innovation, and technology in shaping the future of education.
